Use a graphic organizer to help you narrow down your choice to one per category.
Use a Google image search and add the keywords "advertisement" / "ad" / "advertising" when you search. Do not use a parody. Make sure your print ad is real. OR SEE STEP 2:
Use either the Clio Awards or Ads of the World. I recommend this approach. The size and quality of the image will be better.
Try to collect 1 print ad per category. You will end up with 5 (the one you will analyze and 4 others representing various categories).
Do not submit a parody. Make sure your print ad is real. If you are not sure, ask me. Please note that ads from Clio and Ads of the World are never parodies.
Do not wait to backup your ad. Make a copy of the images as you find them. If you can't open the image, but can only see it in the Google search, take a screenshot of it. If you are using an ad from a magazine, take a good picture of it.
Make note of where the image came from. For each image write down:
Name of Product. "Title of webpage." Title of website. Date of Access. URL.
Arrange them in folders so you can decide which you want to use.
Place your 5 (the one you will analyze and 4 others representing various categories) ads as images into your presentation.
